My son has an account with your bank in the Boston area. I would like to deposit some money in his account. There are no TD Banks in the Austin, TX area. How can I deposit money in his account. I have his account number

Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Wally. We'd be happy to help you transfer funds to your son.
One of the great ways you'd be able to transfer funds to your son is via our Person-to-Person Payment Service.
If your son has a TD Bank Checking account and is currently enrolled for Online Banking, he will have the ability to request funds from other people by using this service. To start, he must first be logged into his online account. Next, he would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." He would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once it is confirmed, select "Send Request." The sender of the funds, in this case will be you, will then receive a text or an email with your son's request for funds. After your son completes his request for funds, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach his account. Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If your son is not enrolled for Online Banking yet, he may start the enrollment process: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. He will need his Social Security number, account number, ATM/Debit Card number, and his e-mail address. If he has any trouble with the enrollment, please ask him to contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. If he prefers, he may also visit his local TD Bank Store for assistance.
Another way you are able to send him funds is via wire transfer. A wire would be initiated by you during a visit to your financial institution. For a domestic wire, please follow the instructions below:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware,
Your son's name as it appears on his account, along with his account number.
Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender. There may also be fees for this type of transfer. Please advise your son to take a look at our Fee Schedule listed above.
We hope you find these options helpful, Wally and have a great afternoon!
