Great question, Lakeila!
All of our Debit Cards come with an ATM withdrawal limit of $760 per day. We understand that sometimes, especially around the holidays, our Customers may need access to additional funds. Depending on whether or not you'd like the increase to be permanent, you have a few options.
If you're traveling or simply need to make a large purchase, we should be able to temporarily lift your ATM withdrawal limit for one day as long as the funds are available in your account for your desired amount. There are a few requirements. First, your debit card should be active and enough funds available in your account. Your account must also be more than 90 days old and there should not be overdrafts on any other accounts you hold with TD Bank.
If you meet all of these requirements, we'd be happy to help. Just give us a call at 888-751-9000. We have agents available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that can process this request for you right away. You can also send us your request by secure message through your online or mobile banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
If you need to increase your ATM limit permanently, you will need to visit us in person at a TD Bank Store. A member of leadership will review your needs and your account to determine if we're able to make this adjustment. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We hope this helps, Lakeila, and we look forward to hearing from you soon. Happy Holidays!
