Hi Ash, welcome to TD Helps. We're sorry for any difficulties you've experienced with your debit card.
Based on your question, we believe that you may have an old debit card, which means the expiration or CVV code may be hard to read. If this is the case, we think it may be time to obtain a new card, and we'll be happy to help you with that!
The fastest way that you may obtain a new debit card is by visiting your local TD Bank Store. We invite you to click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to view our Store locations and hours. Please be sure to bring a valid form of photo identification with you.
You may also request a new debit card over the phone with a Banking Specialist, upon proper account verification. You may reach us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Or, if you'd prefer, you may request a new debit card by sending us a secure message through online banking, if you are currently enrolled. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your mobile banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. Please be sure to include your full name, account number, and address in which we should be mailing the debit card to. If you are requesting for us to mail the debit card to an address which is not on record, we kindly ask that you include the statement "I take full responsibility for the debit card to be mailed to this alternate address".
If you are not currently enrolled in online banking, you may click here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to get started with your enrollment process. Please select 'Personal' and continue, where you will then be prompted to agree to the terms and conditions. Once you've completed your online banking enrollment, you will have immediate access to your account (s), and will be able to send a secure message by following the steps mentioned earlier.
If you have any additional questions with obtaining a new debit card, please feel free to reach out again.
We hope you have a great day, Ash. Happy Holidays!
