I requested a transfer of $5,000. to an external bank account, I was told that was over the daily limit for the 3 day transfer. How can I use the 1 day transfer option? I transferred $2,000 using the 3 day transfer option because I couldn't find the other option.

Thank you for visiting us here on TD Helps, Cheryl! We certainly understand the importance of moving your funds and we'll be happy to provide the information that is needed. There is a limit of $5,000.00 per day and $10,000.00 per month for Person-to-Person transfers. We recommend initiating a wire transfer as there isn't a limitation on the amount of funds that can be wired. To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. To send an international wire is you will need the full name, address (including City), State/Province, Country and account number of the person/business you are sending money to (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number). Also the full name and address, including City, State/Province and Country of the financial institution receiving the funds, plus of course the amount and currency of the transfer. Also, keep in mind that depending on the currency you are receiving, some transactions may take longer than others. Please see the following link for all applicable fees included in our fee schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender. We hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions.
