Great question, Alexander. Thanks for stopping by today.
Generally speaking, in order to send an international wire from your account here at TD Bank, it would be necessary to visit us at one of our Stores. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
However, if you happen to be one of our Commercial account customers, you may send International Wire Transfers online via TD eTreasury. To learn more about eTreasury we ask that you take a look here: http://bit.ly/WOp4w8.
If you'll be visiting one of our Stores to send a wire, all you need to bring is:
• The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
• The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
• The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other financial institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Please see the link listed below for all applicable fees that may apply.
Please also note that transfer fees may apply, and for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
Hope this answers your question, Alexander and enjoy your night!
