Great question, Cathy! We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about Bill Pay.
The funds will be deducted from your account if and when the payee cashes the check if the payment is processed via paper check. If the payment is processed electronically, the funds will be deducted on the date the payment is due. Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1gWIrp7 to view our Bill Pay FAQs for more information.
If you should have any questions pertaining to your account specifically, please give us a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562 or visit any TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your night, Cathy! Take care.

We always recommend to our Customers that keeping a register of your banking is the most accurate way to stay up to date. With that being said, feel free to take advantage of Online Banking, which is one of the tools we offer that can help you keep track of your paid checks.
Any payments that you schedule via Bill Pay, with your debit card, checks you write and more are all applied to your statement after the debit is made and applies to your account.
You are able to sign in at any time to view statement information and double check that all your payments were made. To log in please visit here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. After you sign in, please follow the steps below to view your statement:
1. Click on the accounts link at the top of the screen.
2. Click on the checking account number you would like to view statements on.
3. Click on the 'Statements & Notices' tab.
4. Choose the statement period you would like to view and click 'View Statement'.
5. You may then click the print icon if you would like to print a copy of your statement.
You are also able to download a statement to view using the Mobile Banking App. To do so, please select the 'Accounts' option. This may prompt you to enter your user name and password. Next select the account that you'd like to view followed by the 'Statements' tab. Finally, select the statement from the list provided to view this information.
If you ever have any trouble locating a payment, you are able to reach out to a Banking Specialist to review your account in detail. To contact us, please call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, visit us during lobby hours at any TD Store or send a secure message using Online or Mobile Banking.

To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
