Hey Alexander, thanks for making a stop at TD Helps today. We'd be happy to help provide some information regarding your inquiry.
The minimum balance will depend on the type of account that you have. For a listing of all of our Checking accounts please check out: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0. You mentioned you were over 60 years of age, if you happen to have our TD 60 Plus Checking account, we invite you to check out: http://bit.ly/1yFOmu7 for more details.
If you are still unsure of why you received these fees, we ask that you connect with us directly at 888-751-9000. After account verification, we would be happy to review this further with you. If you prefer to sit with us, you are more than welcome to visit us during lobby hours. For a listing of TD locations please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you utilize TD Online Banking, you may also send us a secure message. Please log onto your account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you have not enrolled, that is okay. TD Online Banking is free and convenient and you can do all your banking at the comfort of your home. To start the process, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. You'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
After you have successfully logged in, on the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” You can also find the "Message Center" by clicking on the "Customer Service" tab at the top of the page.
We hope the information provided helps Alexander. Have a great day!
