I am studying abroad in Bangkok, Thailand and I would like to open a bank account here, but I would also like to transfer my funds from my home bank account to this new one I will be creating. Could you help me through this?

Hi Jasmine, thanks for connecting with us on TD Helps.
As you are currently in Thailand, if you have an ATM/Debit Card you are able to make a withdraw from your TD account while away. Once you receive the cash, you will then be able to deposit the funds into your other account.
Alternatively, if you have a TD Checking account with checks, you may write a check from your TD account in order to deposit into your account at the other financial institution.
Please note in order to complete a wire transfer from your TD account, it would have to be completed from a TD Store location.
We hope this helps, Jasmine and enjoy your day!
