Thanks for brining your question to TD Helps today, Tranise.
We apologize for any confusion you may be experiencing, and we'll be happy to further assist you with your concerns.
Here at TD Bank, when an account is opened, you are given the option to have a debit card mailed to your address for your new account, or you may also visit a TD Store location to obtain a debit card. In some instances, a card may even be mailed before the account is funded.
As you mentioned that you received a debit card for a TD Bank account in your name, but did not intend on opening an account with us, it sounds as though you may accidently done so. If this is the case, we'd like to recommend that you visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. If you'd like, you're welcome to bring the debit card you received with you, as this may allow the Representative assisting you to easily locate any accounts that may have been opened.
Feel free to use this link: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your nearest TD Store location, as well as their lobby hours and contact information.
We look forward to seeing you soon, Tranise, and assisting you with your concerns.
