Thanks for reaching out to us, Debra! We understand you may need your records from a previous account and are glad to help out.
Please note that TD Bank retains seven years of account history in our records. If your account was closed within this time frame and you'd like to access your prior statements, don't worry as we have some ways that this can be done.
If the account was closed in the past few months or you have the account number, and you have another active account with us, you can request statement copies with one of our Banking Specialists; who can mail them out to you to the address we have on record. Please call Customer Service 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for assistance, anytime it's convenient for you. After account verification, we'll be able to help. Please note, you should expect to receive the copies in approximately 7 to 10 business days.
If you no longer have any active accounts with us, or was closed some time ago and you no longer have your account number, you'll want to request statements by stopping by any local TD Bank Store, during lobby hours. Any one of our Customer Service Specialists would be able to assist. If the statements are recent, we may be able to provide you with the copies during your visit. We recommend contacting the TD Bank Store prior to stopping in, and to find a TD Bank near you, check out http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you should need records other than the statements on the account, such as check or deposit copies, we may also be able to accommodate your request when you contact us.
