My primary residence is in NY and I have a secondary residence in South Carolina. Every time I use my card in SC it gets flagged as fraudulent activity and is rejected and frozen. Can I add my secondary address to my account to avoid this from happening since I am in SC often?

Hi Frank. Thank you for reaching out to us.
We can certainly understand how frustrating it could be to have your debit card declined. The address on your account is used for sending any necessary documents and for tax reporting purposes, if applicable. Because of this we can only have one mailing address at a time. While we would not be able to add a secondary address to your debit card, we do have an alternative that could help!
Many of our Customers have vacation or secondary homes in different locations. Often down south where it's nice and warm! What we recommend is contacting us prior to your trip south so that we may notate your debit card with your travel plans. Generally we recommend notifying us at least a week in advance. All we need is the destination and your travel dates. Once we've updated your account with that info, you should be able to go forward using your card in SC without interruption!
You have a few options for updating us with your travel plans. For starters, you can simply give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. But the easiest way may be to send us a secure message through your online or mobile banking. Be sure to include your destination and travel dates. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
We hope this helps, Frank! If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here or through one of the methods above.
We hope you're having a great day!
