Welcome to TD Helps, Edward! We'd be happy to help.
It sounds like you've recently spoke with our Representatives. When a Banking Specialist removes a security question from your Online Banking profile, the next time you log in from the full web page you will be asked to create a new question.
While you're creating your new question, here are some guidelines to keep in mind:
- Only select security questions that are meaningful to you. For instance, if your pets are more important to you than your first car, select the pet question.
- Avoiding abbreviations in your answer, like "Rd." instead of "Road".
- Answers to your security questions are not case-sensitive. So you only have to remember the answer - not whether or not you used uppercase letters in any of your answer.
If you have any trouble creating a new question, feel free to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Representatives will be happy to help you update your security questions. You are also able to visit a TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this clears things up, Edward and have a great day!
