Hi Stephen, thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question!
To add someone to your personal account, please visit the nearest TD Bank during lobby business hours so that all signers can sign an updated signature card. We just ask that you both bring photo ID (Driver's license, state ID, Passport) and also the security number for the person that is being added to the account. If you need assistance finding a TD Bank near you, we suggest you check out http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have any further questions, please contact us via email or call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Stephen, stop by again with any other questions you may have and have great weekend!

To add someone to my account, I need a security number for them. Is that Social Security number or something else?

Thanks for joining the conversation, Tany.
The security number referenced above is indeed referring to a Social Security Number that is needed to add someone to an account. Please refer to the answer above to determine other identification that is needed.
We hope we cleared up your question.
