Happy Thursday, Connie, and thanks for bringing your concerns to TD Helps today!
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Based on the information you have provided, it sounds as though you may have received a merchant refund to your TD Bank Credit Card. If this is the case, and you currently have a balance owed on your card, we're happy to announce that once your refund is successfully processed to your card, the amount of your refund will be applied to your balance owed.
In the event that your refund is for an amount larger than your balance, and your card now has a negative balance, please don't worry! If you have a deposit account with TD Bank, such as a Checking or Savings account, you may simply connect with one of our Credit Card Specialist so that they may apply this balance to your account. If you don't have a deposit account, that's okay! A check will be created for the amount remaining, and mailed to your address, generally within 7-10 business days.
To connect with a Credit Card Specialist, you may simply dial 888-561-8861. For your convenience, Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and not only will they be able to assist you with your refund, but they'll also be happy to help answer any questions or concerns you may have!
We sincerely hope you found this information helpful, Connie, and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
Take care, and have an amazing rest of your Thursday!
