Hi there, Calvin!
For many of our accounts, there is typically a minimum daily balance required in order to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. This type of fee would be assessed at the end of your account's statement cycle, if the minimum balance was not met during that time frame on each day.
From here, we apologize that we're not able to check to see which type of account you currently have. If this is a fee you're seeing on a checking account you have, you can take a look at this page: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF for more info on these accounts including their fees, or, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for savings accounts. Beneath each one, you can click the "View Guide" link to get a bit more info for each one.
We'd be glad to review your account with you personally, Calvin. Please contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and a Specialist would be happy to see which type of account you have and provide some advice for avoiding this fee in the future.
If you'd prefer, you also have the option of sending a Secure Message through Online Banking to chat with us about your account. To do so, please sign into your account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message." You can also visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours for assistance as well. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find one of our Stores near you.
Calvin, we hope this will be helpful for you!
Thanks again for getting in touch and please reach out to us soon with any other questions!
