Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today, Ryan.
There are a few ways to request a stop payment on a check that hasn't been debited from your account yet.
You're welcome to give us a call, 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to request the stop payment be placed. You will need the check number, exact amount of the check as well as who it was made payable to. You may also stop by a TD Bank location for further assistance. For Store hours please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Another option to place a stop payment on a check is via Online Banking. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/debit card number and Social Security number to enroll online. Once you're logged in, please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then "Stop Payment."
Please note there may be a fee applied for a stop payment. Please visit: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our fee schedule.
We hope this information helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions and have a great day.
