I made a duplicate payment in error and would like to cancel one of the payments to be settled on August 28, 2015 in the amount of $103.60. The confirmation number is ********************. (I am helping a friend and I made a mistake, which I would like to correct.) Thank you.

Hi Shelly, thanks for writing in on TD Helps.
Depending on the type of transaction that was completed, we may have different options available to cancel it. To best assist, we ask that you contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. After account verification our Banking Specialists will be able to review your account further to provide you with the best options available.
If the payment was completed via Bill Pay on www.tdbank.com, we ask that you contact us 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
You may also visit a nearby TD location for assistance with your account and this pending payment.
If you're enrolled for Online Banking, you may send us a secure message requesting details on the transaction in question. If you're not enrolled yet you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, debit card number and Social Security number to enroll online. Once you're enrolled and logged in, to send a secure message on the left hand side of the page you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”.
We hope this helps, Shelly and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
