Thanks for reaching out, Rose. We'll be happy to make changing your account type easy and fast!
You may wish to review the types of Checking accounts we currently offer here: http://bit.ly/1f9fEn9. We also invite you to check out our Account Selector Tools, which can provide recommendations based on your account needs. For Checking accounts, please visit: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. You may wish to take a look at http://bit.ly/1dhZ3bj for more information in the Account Guide for Simple Checking accounts, as the features of this account are different from our Premier Checking account.
If you prefer, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, who can review your account requirements with you and also change the account type. You also have the option of changing the account type via secure message. To send a secure message, you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a Secure Message" located in the “Message Center.'' When sending us the secure message, please be sure to provide your account number and the account type you are requesting and we will be happy to process your request. Additionally, please feel free to stop by your local TD Store for further assistance. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of TD Stores and hours near you.
Please note that by changing the account type, this will not affect your account number or ATM/debit card number.
We hope this helps, Rose. If you need anything else, feel free to reach out anytime!
