To update your last name on your TD Bank accounts, we do require you to visit a TD Store for security purposes. You will need to bring a copy of your marriage certificate or other legal document stating your change in name and a valid photo ID (Driver's license, Passport, State issued photo ID, etc.). Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of our Store locations and hours.
In addition to visiting a Store, there are a couple of additional options available to change your name for your TD Visa Credit Card account. First, you can contact TD Card Services at 888-561-8861, available 24/7. After account verification, our Specialists would be more than happy to help with your request. If you prefer, you can also fax in your request to 706-649-4843 and please send it to the attention of Correspondence. You will need to include at least 2 documents from the following list:
• Driver's License
• Marriage License
• Divorce Decree
• Court Order
• United States Passport
For your credit card, you could also Mail in your request to:

P.O. Box 84037
Columbus, GA 31908-4037
Please make sure the documents have the updated name prior to faxing or mailing.
After one of our Representatives has submitted the name change request form for you, it will take approximately 7-10 business days to be applied to the accounts.
