Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Christine.
Checking your balance online is quick and easy. We'll be happy to walk you through the process.
First and foremost, in order to check your balance online, you must first be enrolled for Online Banking. If you have not enrolled, you can do so for free by following this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, your email address and your current TD ATM/Debit card. If you run into any problems enrolling or if you do not have a TD ATM/Debit card to enroll online, please call us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 to speak with our Digital Banking Specialists. After you've successfully enrolled, the first page that is displayed will show your accounts with TD and the current balances.
If you'd prefer to go over the enrollment process in person, you may visit any TD Store near you. For hours and locations near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Christine and have a great day.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Karen. We are sorry to hear about your difficulties with Online Banking and would be happy to help get you to the right place for assistance.
If you wish to enroll for Online Banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://go.td.com1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM or Debit Card number, your Social Security number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then, you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally, you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started. You also have the option to visit your local TD Bank Store for help. For hours and locations near you, check out: http://go.td.com/TDStores.
Just in case if you are looking to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect and you have your debit card, follow this link: http://go.td.com/1dl2HX6. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and password. In case you don't have a debit card or would like to have immediate access to online banking, you can call our Small Business Team at 800-493-7562. Our Specialists are available 24/7 and after account verification, they would be happy to help! You also have the option to visit your local TD Bank Store for assistance.
When making a bill payment through TD Bank Online Banking, you are prompted to select a date to be used as the delivery date of your payment. This date is when the Biller can expect to receive the payment through an electronic funds transfer. In some cases we are not able to complete an electronic funds transfer, so we print a check and mail it to your Biller; in this case the date you selected is used as the date that the check should be delivered. Any date that is in grey and cannot be selected, is a date that we cannot deliver on. By default all weekends and holidays will not be available for selection of delivery.
Typically, our Bill Pay feature would be used to make payments to a Biller that you owe money to. However, since you mention that you are looking to transfer money into another account that you have, we're glad to inform you that it can also be used for this as well. To send yourself a payment (that you could in turn deposit into another bank account that you may have), you would enter your name as the Biller/Payee of the Bill Pay, and use your own address when prompted. We would then mail a paper Bill Pay check to you which you could then use to deposit into any other bank account that you may have.
If you have any further questions about our Bill Pay services, feel free to write back or give us a call at 800-493-7562 to speak to an Online Banking Specialist, 24/7.
We are always here to help, Karen. Feel free to let us know if you any additional questions.
