I live on Maui, and therefore have no access to a TD Bank.
I have a CD account that came up for maturity on 9/15/17, and I do not want it to roll over into a new term.
All I want to do is have that money moved to my convenience checking, but I'm being told that I can't do that because I can't go into a branch. I often miss the open hours of the bank because it's six hours ahead.
Please help. Time sensitive matter.

Hi Jacqueline! We'd be happy to help direct you.
In order to close your CD from a distance, you'll need to send us a request in writing.
A signed and notarized letter will need to be mailed to your home Store where the account was opened. The letter must detail your request and include your account number and mailing address. Once your letter is received and verified, we should be able to close out your CD account and mail you an Official Check for your balance. If you'd prefer to have the funds transferred to your checking account, we recommend discussing this request with your home Store.
We agree that this is a time sensitive matter. There is a 10 day grace period when a CD matures. As it has already matured, you may want to consider expediting or overnighting your letter to us and follow up with the Store to confirm receipt.
To obtain the address and contact info for you home Store, please use our Store Locator here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. If you're unsure which Store your account is assigned to, please give us a call. We'd be happy to provide you the address for your home Store. We can be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps, Jacqueline. We look forward to hearing from you soon so that we can help get this closed out right away.
Have a great day!
