I sent an email to fix the computer error then transfer the couple dollars to my main account, now I see I owe when I reported the problem the same day it happened.

We're sorry to hear that you'd like to close your account, Jazmin. We understand that banking needs change and we'd be happy to help.
First, we'd like to let you know that we are committed to your satisfaction as a Customer. If you have any questions or concerns about your banking experiences, we invite you to discuss them with us at a TD Store or by calling us 24/7. Please find your closest Store and lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores or call us by dialing 888-751-9000.
If you still choose to close your account, we understand and would be happy to help. If you have a Personal account with a remaining balance, we'd recommend visiting any TD Bank Store near you to withdraw the funds and request that the account be closed. Please visit the above link to find a convenient location for you.
If the balance in your account is already zero, or you have a remaining account that funds can be transferred to, you may also call us 24/7 by dialing the number mentioned above. Or, if the balance is zero, you're also welcome to send a Secure Message via your Online Banking account by logging it at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and clicking the "Customer Service" tab. You'll find a link to "Send a Message" there, where you can enter your request. Please be sure to specify the account number you wish to close if you choose to use this method.
Another easy way to close the account with a balance is via mailed written request. You may request to close your account and have any available money in your account be sent to you by check. You can mail a request with the following instructions:
▪Your account number(s)
▪Your request to close the account(s)
▪Your current address
For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to:
TD Bank, N.A Your Home Store's Address or, P.O. Box 1377 Lewiston, Maine 04243-1377
If you know which is your Home Store, you may find the address listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Keep in mind that if your account is overdrawn, the balance needs to be resolved prior to closing.
Please note that if you'd like to close a Business account, this must be completed at any TD Bank Store.
We hope this helps, Jazmin and have a good afternoon.
Megan K, Mount Laurel
