This is in regard to TD Bank Secured credit cards. If the funds in my collateral account become accessible because the credit card account was closed or because I've 'graduated' to an unsecured credit card, would I have to visit a store in-person to access these funds, or could I simply transfer these funds into my checking account by calling or using online banking?

Thanks for visiting us at TD Helps today, J!
Once your Secured Credit Card account is closed or graduated, any remaining funds from your deposit will be held in the collateral savings account. If any of those funds will be used to pay off a balance owed, it may a few days. Please allow approximately 7-10 days from the closing/graduating date for any funds to be credited to your Credit Card account and the hold to be released from the collateral account. After that time frame, please stop in to see us at a local TD Bank Store. We'd be glad to issue you the balance and close the account. If you choose, we can then deposit that money into another account you have with us.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give TD Card Services a call 24/7 at 888-561-8861 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
