Thanks for stopping by TD Helps today, Sherry.
To deposit a money order into your business account, feel free to visit a local TD Bank Store. A Teller will be able to assist you with your transaction or you can make your deposit at any TD Bank ATM. Check out http://bit.ly/TDStores for ATM and Store locations near you.
You also have the option of mailing in your deposit. To do so, please clearly write your account number and the words; “For Deposit Only” on the back of your check and mail it to:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243
The P.O. Box listed above is checked daily and transactions will be posted on the day they are received. Please note, a delay may occur if a deposit is sent to a different P.O. Box than the one provided in the instructions above. Also note, that TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
Like any other deposit, a few simple guidelines apply such as cash should not be sent through the mail, payee of the check and name on the account should be the same and checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only).
You are able to make a Mobile deposit with the Mobile App as long as you are set up with our Retail Internet Banking and not our Business Direct Banking. To use the Mobile deposit you must have an iPhone or Android device with a camera, been a TD Bank deposit customer for at least 90 days and have an active deposit account with us.
A friendly reminder, Money Orders are notoriously difficult to capture a readable image of for Mobile deposits. While the picture may look crystal clear, Money Orders are designed with security features in the background that very often trip up image processing systems. This is a potential cause for any errors that may arise while attempting a Mobile deposit of Money Orders.
At this time we do not have a mobile deposit feature for Business Direct, however please stay tuned for any updates. We are always looking to make our Mobile App better and we'll be sure to pass along your feedback.
Hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your day!
