Thanks for connecting with us here on TD Helps Krupa. We understand the importance of having all of your affairs in order well in advance and we are happy to help provide some information.
It is hassle free to add a beneficiary to your accounts as no form is required by you and no signature is required from the beneficiary. To add one or more than one beneficiary, just visit a TD Bank Store during lobby hours. Please make sure you have the information of the individual(s) you are adding as the beneficiary. Information such as their name, address and date of birth. You can find the closest location to you by visiting http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please note, to confirm your request, a new signature card must be signed by all account owners.
We hope the information given helps Krupa. Have a great day and please let us know if you have any further questions.

Do I have to fill out a beneficiary form for each account at TD? I filled out a form a year ago when I opened a Roth IRA. I just opened another Roth for 2014. Does it need another beneficiary form? What about other accounts.

Good day Arlene and thanks for reaching out to us here at TD Helps for your answer.
If you have already filled out beneficiary form for your existing/active Roth IRA account, you will not need to fill out another beneficiary form for your new Roth IRA account with us.
If you have any additional questions regarding your IRA accounts, please contact our IRA department Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 1-800-231-8193.
You've also mentioned other accounts you have with TD Bank, if you are referring to new deposit accounts such as Checking, Savings or Money Market account, you may need to fill new beneficiary form each time when you open a new deposit account.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by your nearest TD Bank Store location. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.

Thanks for stopping by TD Helps today. We'll be sure to provide some information for you this afternoon.
If you are referring to adding a beneficiary to your account, please visit any TD Bank during lobby hours to fill out the proper paper work as it must be done in person.
If you're referring to an investment account with TD Ameritrade, please reach out to them directly by dialing 800-400-3603.
We hope this helps and have a great Wednesday! Take care.

I currently have a checking account and would like to add a beneficiary to that account. I would like to add a Revocable Trust as that beneficiary.
I have a few questions:
1. Can you please tell me exactly what I need to do in order to do that?
2. If you are going to tell me I must visit a branch, is there any other way to do that does not require an in-person visit?
3. Since I want to name a trust as the beneficiary, do I need to provide any or all of the trust to the bank?
Thank you very much,
David, Long Beach
