Hi Kelly, thanks for connecting with us this morning. We're happy to assist with any currency exchange questions that you have!
The South African national currency is called the 'Rand'. And yes, we can purchase this currency for you!
We offer foreign exchange services to both TD and Non-TD Customers at most TD Bank Stores for over 70 national currencies. To find the Store nearest you, please visit our Store locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We recommend calling ahead to confirm what the current exchange rate for this currency is, and please remember that it may take up to 3 business days to get a particular currency on hand for exchange.
Another way you can obtain the current exchange rate is by contacting our TD International Services department at 888-BNG-INTL (888-264-4685) or you can send them an email directly here: http://bit.ly/1pvwJIu. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions, and for more information please review our Fee Schedule found here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this helps Kelly. Have a great day!
