I want to eliminate the $1 monthly charge and just keep track of it on line.
I tried to do this by phone and the guy asked me a million questions and THEN told me I had to do this on line!

Hey Sally, thanks for coming by TD Helps. We'd be happy to help provide details on how to enroll for paperless statements.
To enroll for paperless statements for your personal deposit accounts, such as Checking, Savings and Money Market account, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have an ATM/Debit Card and U.S. Social Security number you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you’ve successfully logged in, please follow the steps below:
-Please click on the “Customer Service” tab
-Select the “Online Statement Settings” link which is located under the self-service portion (it will be the sixth link down) or in the "Help & Related Tasks" box (which is located on the left side of the page).
-Please select the account(s) you would like to enroll for Online Statements. Make sure the email address on file is correct.
-You will then be asked to read the “Online (Paperless) Statement Customer Agreement” and the “Hardware and Software Requirements." Once you have opened and reviewed the 2 documents needed, please check mark the two boxes and select “Save Changes”.
