I have deposited a TD Bank Check #XXXXXXX in the amount of $39,500 in my Wells Fargo checking account on April 23rd. My banker says I should not hand over title to the RV that was sold until I know that it has cleared your bank. Wells Fargo contacted TD Bank at my request when I deposited it and was told that funds were available for the check. In checking with a local TD Bank, they said they could not give me that information. I understand it can take 7 to 10 days for these to clear. The check has "RE: XXXXXXX XXXXX" who is your customer and the purchaser of my RV. I would appreciate knowing if this has been cleared by TD Bank.

We understand your concern, James and we'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
To verify if the TD Bank Official Check you received is valid, we ask you please visit your local TD Bank Store with your valid form of ID. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If this isn't a possibility, we encourage you to speak with your financial institution regarding a deposit of the check and their returned check policies, including any fees they may assess.
We hope to see you at a TD Store soon, James and have a good day.
