Thank you, Victoria, for contacting us at TD Helps. We would be happy to help.
A Certified check can also be known as an Official Check. If you purchased an Official Check and would like to verify if the check has been received and cashed, you may visit your local TD Store. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for nearby locations. Additionally, you may contact us at 888- 751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Our Specialists are available 24/7 and would be happy to help!
When you purchase the Official Check, you can pay the fee by cash and if that is what you like to do, the fee will not be posted to your statement. If you chose to pay by using your Checking account, then the fee plus the amount of the Official Check is added together and you should see the total amount showing on your statement as a "Debit." For example, if the Official Check is $1000.00 and the fee is $8.00, you will see a debit of $1008.00 once your statement is generated.
Feel free to give us a call at the number listed above, or give us a visit with any further questions, Victoria. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
