Thanks for joining us today on TD Helps, Norma. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
The monthly maintenance fee is assessed anytime your account balance falls below your daily minimum balance during your statement period. The fee will show on up on the last day of your statement cycle.
From your inquiry, it sounds like you may have a Convenience Checking account. For more information on our TD Convenience Checking, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/18IVtY0. If this is not the account type you have and are unsure of what you have, it will be listed on your paper statements. If you do not have a paper statement handy, that's okay. You may view this information via your Online Banking account.
If you have not enrolled yet, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not some of this information or if you need any assistance enrolling please call 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Banking Specialists, available 24/7.
Once you've successfully enrolled and have logged on, please select the "Accounts" tab and select "Statements." Another window should open with your statement images, where you can view your account type.
And to review your account with you in further detail to determine why you may have been assessed this fee, please feel free to contact us by using the number mentioned above to speak with our Banking Specialists, available 24/7. After account verification, we would be more than happy to review your account with you and provide other options as well. Or if you prefer, you can stop by any TD Bank location during lobby hours. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a location near you.
We hope this helps, Norma and have a good afternoon.
