I am financing my car through TD Bank and I need my title so I can register my car in PA. I just don't know how to do it or who to call.

Welcome to the TD Helps community, Amanda.
If TD Bank is still the lienholder on your Vehicle then a copy of the title will not be issued out until the vehicle has been paid off. If you are looking for a copy of the title for registration purposes however, please have your local DMV fax an Out of State Request (OSR) to our Collateral Department at 207-753-3746. Please allow 3-5 business days for TD Bank to process and send the title via Certified mail to your DMV for them to process the request. Please note: the Out of State Request (OSR) process may vary depending on your local DMV. In addition, electronic titles may require additional processing time.
If your vehicle has been paid off but you are unable to locate the title for your car, TD Bank will be happy to assist you with a Release of Lien for your vehicle. This will allow you to get a replacement title from your local DMV proving ownership.
To obtain this documentation, a faxed request is required. Please fax the following information to the Consumer Release Department at 207-755-4245:
• Your full name, address, and Social Security number •The account number, if it is available • The year, make, model and VIN, as well as the bank name the loan was with and the date it was paid off, if available •Your request for a Release of Lien •Your signature
We also recommend including your best contact number and your return fax number so that we can assist you as efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for the request is typically 3-5 business days.
