Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today, Sekeya! Congratulations on your recent nuptials!
To change your name and how it appears on your account, we do require you to visit a TD Store for security purposes. You will need to bring a copy of your marriage certificate or other legal document stating your change in name and a valid photo ID (Driver's license, Passport, State issued photo ID, etc.). Keep in mind that it may take up to five business days for the change to process. Once your account reflects your name change you may request a new debit card that has your married name. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of our Store locations and hours.
You also have the option of calling us at (888) 751-9000 to speak with one of our 24/7 Customer Service Representatives who will be happy to order the new card for you and mail it to the address we have on file for you once your new name is updated.
Congratulations again and have a great weekend.
