We appreciate your visit on TD Helps, Christy! We're happy to provide you with options to obtain a copy of a cashed check.
You may stop by a local TD Store, during lobby hours to request a check copy to be printed. For a listing of Store hours please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You are also welcome to give our Customer Service Representatives a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, that way they can put in the request to have the check copy mailed to the address we have on file for your account.
If you use Online Banking and the check you're looking for was within the past 60 days you will be able to view and print that check directly from your Online Banking. Once you're logged in online, to view checks you would select your Checking account. Online Banking will then bring you to your Account History. The web page is automatically programmed to display the last 10 days but you may view the last 60 days of history from the drop down box. You can also use the "Power Search" feature on the right hand side of the page across from where "Account History" is displayed. You can type in a check number, check range, amount and click "Search." This will bring up the check you are looking for and then you can click the blue link that says "View Check Image."
Additionally, if you are signed up for paperless statements and need to look for your check outside the last 60 days of activity, check images are included on the last page of your statement and you may view them by selecting the "Statements" tab. If you do not have paperless statements, you may have your check images displayed on your monthly statement. Please note that there may be fees for this addition of this service. Take a look at our Fee Schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
You may also log in to send us a secure message requesting the copy. Once you're logged into your Online Banking please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then "Send a Secure Message." On the new page, there will be a message field and a drop down menu where you can choose a subject. To make a request for check images, you would need to change the subject to "Request a Transaction Copy." You will then be directed to select and fill out details about the check images that you're requesting including the date, amount and check number. Please note that there may be fees associated with this request, we invite you to view our Fee Schedule listed above.
If you are not enrolled in Online Banking yet, you may do so at http://bit.ly/1lqyp6r. You will need your account number and ATM/debit card number to complete the enrollment. The system will lead you step-by-step through the process. If you have any questions about the enrollment process, please call our Banking Specialists 24/7 at the number listed above for further assistance.
We hope the information provided helps, Christy, and have a lovely evening!

Thank you! This is the information I was looking for. Just to confirm then, there is no way for me to view a check online if it is from more than 60 days ago, is that right? Or does the "power Search" allow me to go further back?

Welcome back Christy!
You may view copies of your checks online from more than 60 days, if your account is enrolled for paperless statements. Your cancelled check images are available to view on the last page of your statement, for any month in which your account was paperless. To view your statements online, after selecting the "Accounts" tab and the account you would like to view, please click on the green "Statements" tab to select the month and year of the statement.
If you do not wish to go paperless and would like to receive your checks images in addition to your monthly statement, you may request this by giving us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also visit a TD Store to complete this request in person. To find a location nearby please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please note, depending on the type of account you have, additional fees may apply, we invite you to view our Fee Schedule at http://bit.ly/1cTejgt
If you do not currently use Online Banking or your check images are not available, don't worry, as we have other ways to help you. You are always welcome to give one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and they can mail a copy to your home address. If you are nearby one of our TD Bank Stores, you can request a check copy to be printed while you wait.
We hope this helps, Christy. Take care!
