Hey, Marcus! Thanks for your question on TD Helps today. We'll be glad to respond.
For the protection of your TD Bank account, your TD Debit card has a daily limits placed on it. For information on your daily limit amounts, please take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pages 43-44).
We understand there may be times when you may need to make a withdrawal which is higher than the standard limits set on your debit card. If you are expecting to spend more than what is permitted on your daily limit, we can offer a couple of options on how to request an increase. Please note, in order to have your debit card limit increased you must have a deposit account older than 90 days that is in a Normal status. You also must have a sufficient balance to cover the requested amount.
To increase one of the limits on your Visa Debit card, you can send us a written request via fax or secure message. You can send the fax to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138, or please log in to your TD Bank online account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and use the Send a Message link after clicking the Customer Service tab. With either method, please include the following information:
• Subject: Limit Increase • Account Number • Debit/ATM Card Number • Your Name • Contact Telephone Number • Please include this statement: 'Please increase my total daily Visa (or POS or ATM) limit to $X for the day' • Your Signature (for the fax option only)
Please note, limit increases are temporary and the transaction must be completed the same day that the limit increase is granted.

Hi, i also need to do this but have ran into difficulty, when i choose from the list of subjects the "limit increase option is not displayed. is this a tech problem or is it me?

We apologize for the confusion, Joshua. We'd be happy to clarify.
When sending your secure message, the drop down menu lists a variety of options to select. By selecting "General Customer Service," Online Banking will allow you to type in your own subject in which you can enter "Limit Increase." After that, you should be able to complete the steps that Kristen outlined above.
