I stopped using my account about 8 years ago. A couple months after I stopped using my checking account, I got a letter stating I owed the bank money. Now I didn't remember owing them anything when I stopped using it and it just kind of got pushed aside. Now, 8 years later, I still can't have a checking account at the bank I've had since right after TD... And I was wondering how long I have to wait for this issue to clear, or what I can do so that I can finally open a new checking account somewhere
