Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today Lindsey. Here are a few different options you may choose from, depending on how you wish to link your accounts. There are many benefits to having your accounts linked, as we have outlined below.
Our Relationship Checking Account offers monthly maintenance fee waivers on additional Savings accounts and one additional Checking account when linked. You can also waive the monthly maintenance fee on the Relationship checking account with a $20,000 combined deposit, outstanding loan and/or mortgage balance (excludes credit card) when linked to your Relationship checking account. The Relationship checking is our most feature rich checking account that also comes with other benefits as well! Here is more information about our Relationship checking http://bit.ly/1sBXy0Z.
If you are under 24 years old and a Student, you can open a Student Checking account and a Simple Savings account. You will receive a monthly maintenance fee waiver on the savings account when it is linked to your Student checking account. Here is more information about our Student checking http://bit.ly/S8Vejp.
Also, any Checking account can be linked to a Simple Savings account, and with an automatic transfer of $25 you are eligible to receive a monthly maintenance fee waiver. Here is more information about our Simple Savings account http://bit.ly/1ph1XF2.
Some savings accounts also offer rate bumps when linked to an eligible checking account. Here is more information about our savings accounts http://bit.ly/1kO6zg0.
Additionally, with all of the above options you can request to have your Savings Account set-up for Savings Overdraft Protection. Check out http://bit.ly/1mPODYO for more information about this option.
Our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/KmmHe7 can help with selecting the checking account that is the best fit for you. We also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd which will help you choose the best savings account for your needs. You can open an account online by visiting: http://bit.ly/1hpjw0I, give us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Bank. Do the accounts automatically link once they are both open? Meaning if someone opens a Simple Savings and a Student Checking, for example, will these two accounts link automatically or would the account opener need to do something additional?

Thanks for asking your question here on TD Helps, Jordan.
In most instances, account should automatically be linked for Online Banking. If you find that your accounts are not linked, we recommend for you to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You can also stop by a TD Bank Store for assistance. For a listing of locations and hours, look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
