I want to make a recurring transfer to my brother's TD account. When I try to do it I get an error cause it seems it has to be a bank outside of TD?

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps this morning, Sue.
We apologize that you're having trouble setting up a transfer to your brother's TD Bank account, and we'll be happy to help and clear up any confusion you may be experiencing.
Based on the information you have provided, it sounds as though you may have attempted to send funds to your brother using our External Transfer feature. Please know that this feature is used to transfer funds to an account you may have with another financial institution, and is not a person to person transfer service. However, please don’t worry, as you'll still be able to transfer funds to your brother's account!
Here at TD Bank, we offer a feature called Send Money, which allows for any of our Customers to perform a transfer to anyone in the United States, regardless of the financial institution they may use. To access this great feature, you'll simply need to log into your Personal Online Banking, which you can do by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq.
Once you've successfully logged in, to get started, you'll want to click on the 'Transfers' tab towards the top of your screen. From here, you'll want to use the 'Send Money' tab to access our Send Money feature. If you have never used this feature before, you may need to accept some terms and conditions, and after doing so, you'll have access to add your brother's information! To do so, you should be in the 'Send' section of the Send Money feature, and you'll next want to click 'Add New Contact.'
With Send Money, you'll have the ability to add your brother's account number, email address, or even his phone number. Should you wish to use his account number, please know that you will also need his routing number. If you'd prefer to use his phone number or email, he will receive either a text or email with the instructions on how to proceed once you have sent your transfer.
Once your brother's information has been added, you'll next want to click on his name, followed by the transfer method (account number, email, or phone number) you had previously entered. To complete this transfer, you'll simply need to add the amount, followed by the delivery speed, and finally the account you would like the funds to be debited from. Then click 'Review.' After confirming that the information provided is correct, you can complete this transfer to your brother by clicking 'Send!'
If you have any trouble using our Send Money feature, please don't hesitate to connect with a Specialist from our Tech Support Team, and they'll be happy to help! Tech Support Specialist can be reached by simply dialing 800-493-7562, and for your convenience, are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
We hope you found this information helpful, Sue, and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions or concerns you may have!
Take care, and enjoy your upcoming weekend!
