What are the steps in the online banking to make an ACH payment?
With other banks I used to use templates for online payments which I noticed you have the option too. I found you also have "batch" figure. What is the difference between "batch" and "template"? Once I registered a receiver, Can I make an ACH payment to it directly or do I need to settle a batch or template first to do it? (I mean the payment)

Thanks for writing in, Tania!
We'll be sure to assist you today in regard to making an ACH payment.
We'd like to inform you that an ACH batch is when you are actually sending the ACH payments. Ex: if you are paying one or two individuals. A template is utilized once you already have the receiver's information automatically set up, so you are able to just send it when needed. Ex: payroll deposits. Please note that a template is typically recurring and a batch is an ACH payment once it has been sent out.
To initiate an ACH payment, you must be enrolled for BusinessDirect.
If you are not enrolled for TD BusinessDirect, you do so online, or visit one of your local TD Bank Stores. If you have not enrolled and have a business ATM/Visa Debit Card, you can do so for free here: https://go.td.com/1dl2HX6 or you can check: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR for store hours and locations. Once you enroll for BusinessDirect, you will receive a call to the contact number you provided within 2 business days, to verify for security purposes.
There is a $10 Batch fee for each group you set up for your ACH deposits! If you have any questions, feel free to contact our BusinessDirect team 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
We also invite you to check out our TD eTreasury Service! With this service, you can obtain real-time balances and transaction information on all deposit and loan accounts, including accounts maintained at other banks. Feel free to use this for creating your ACH Deposits, as you can also initiate automated payments and originate collections via ACH or Direct Deposit. To learn more about setting up this service, you can reach out to our Treasury Management Services at 866-475-7262.
Thanks for submitting your question, Tania!
