Thanks for submitting your inquiry, Brandon. While it is necessary to visit a TD location in order to open a joint Checking account, you can always open an individual account online. Once the account has been opened, at your earliest convenience you may add the additional signer by visiting a TD location. We just ask that both you and the new signer stop in during lobby hours. Please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing of our Stores and hours. When you visit, each account signer will need their Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. We encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU to find an account which suits both of your needs. We hope this is helpful Brandon and enjoy your Friday!
