Good afternoon, Beverly.
It's great to hear from you today.
As you mentioned that you are looking to remove yourself from a joint account you may have, we'd like to take a moment to let you know that here at TD Bank; all signers have 100% ownership over an account. Because of this, we unfortunately are unable to remove anyone from a personal deposit account. Should you wish to remove yourself from a joint account, any additional signers would need to close the account, and a new one may then be opened in only their name.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, we're here to help any of the additional signers on your account complete this process of opening a new account at any of our Store locations. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. We may also be able to complete this for them by phone. Just give us a call at 888-751-9000. We have representatives available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help!
Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions or concerns for you, Beverly.
