Good morning, Robert,
Great having you today! Thanks for considering us.
We're happy to say that we have a couple of options for you. The first option you might like to consider is our TD Go Card, if your granddaughter is 13 years of age or older. We designed this specifically with our teenage Customers in mind and you can see more on this page: http://bit.ly/1Extar8.
The TD Bank Go Card is a great way to help our teen Customers manage funds and for parents/guardians to keep track of their spending, and it is also easy to fund. Money can be loaded onto the card by the account owner using a TD Bank Visa Debit or Credit card, 24 hours a day 7 days a week via the TD Go Card website: http://bit.ly/1wibSus. You can also take a look here: http://bit.ly/1gRpCay for FAQs on our TD Go Card. Also, here are the Go Card Terms & Conditions: http://bit.ly/1eSK0Du and look here: http://bit.ly/1zrVD2w for our TD Go Card Guide, which includes any applicable fees. If you have any additional questions regarding our TD Go Card, please do not hesitate to connect with us at 855-219-8050.
Depending on your granddaugher's age, you might also like to consider opening a joint account with her at any TD Bank Store. We offer a wide array of accounts and we invite you to visit the below links for more information. We believe you'll find an option suitable for your needs. Feel free to check out: http://bit.ly/1gAWlhY to view our checking selector and visit http://bit.ly/UbFOwS for the different types of checking accounts TD Bank offers. TD Bank also offers different types of savings accounts; for more information, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1hQscMj, and for a personalized recommendation, click here: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF. We can discuss the card options for you during the account-opening process.
Please keep in mind that in order to open one of these, a valid form of identification such as a Driver's License, State ID or Passport will be needed by the parent or guardian to be listed on the account. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security card. Joint accounts may only be opened at a TD Bank location. Please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a TD Store near you.
If you prefer a credit card, we encourage you to get in touch with TD Card Services directly at 888-561-8861, 24/7, who can best advise you about a card for your granddaughter.
Robert, we hope that one of these options would work for you and your family.
If you have any questions at all, please hit 'Reply' or you can give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks again for your interest and hope to speak with you about this again soon!
