Thank you for opening an account with us, Brian. We'd be glad to help.
You are able to check your balance, make transfers and more by using our automated system by dialing 888-751-9000. To use the automated aspect, you will first be asked to enter your account number or Debit Card number. After which, the automated system will ask for your phone code. For first time users, the phone code is the last four numbers of your Social Security Number. The automated line will then ask you to update your phone code.
If you have any trouble using the automated line, you are able to select "0" at any time to be transferred to a live Representative who will be glad to assist you.
In regards to the receipt of your Welcome Kit, we ask that you please allow 7-10 business days after account opening to receive your Kit in the mail. If your account has been opened longer than 7-10 business days and you have not received your account information, we recommend contacting us by using the number mentioned above or visit a TD Store for assistance. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please know that typically new account information packets are only mailed out if your account was opened over the phone. If your account was opened online you would be presented with the documents electronically at the time of account opening.
