Thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Kevin! Great inquiry and we're glad to offer options.
To transfer funds between your banking institutions, we would like to introduce one of our newest features on www.tdbank.com, our External Transfers feature.
External Transfers are used if you're transferring money between your personal account with TD Bank and your account at another Financial Institution with US. This option is available via Online Banking and you're welcome to send or receive money using this feature.
If you are already enrolled for Online Banking, please check here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you're not yet enrolled, please find our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. You'll need your account number, Visa debit card/ATM number, your Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
After logging onto your account, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule.
After the enrollment is completed, you may continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1jXKYqq for all of the exciting details.
Once these steps are completed, click the "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank" link at the top of the Transfers page. Here, you'll be able to select your external account in the "From" field, and your TD Bank account in the "To" field to complete your transfer. You'll even be able to create this as a recurring transfer at that time if you choose. Once you fill in all the required fields, please select Continue at the bottom.
If External Transfer is not an option for you or you have a TD Bank Business account, your other option would be sending a wire transfer. You will need to provide the following information to your other financial institution:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A Wilmington, Delaware
Credit to: Your Full Name and Account Title, Your Address, Your Account Number
Please also note that there may be fees for the use of the above services. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this is convenient for you, Kevin and we made your day better! Take care and have a great weekend!
