Good afternoon, Thomas,
We hope you're doing well and we appreciate that you're considering a change to TD!
We've prepared an Easy Switch Checklist that's handy for our new or potential Customers currently using another bank. You can find that right here: http://bit.ly/1nEm90e. We generally recommend opening your new accounts first to fully transition. Once everything is converted, you can contact your old bank to close your account if you choose.
To determine which bank best suits you, we encourage you to assess your current needs and take a look at the products we have. You'll be able to see what we can offer you and how this compares to your current accounts.
You may take a look at the different types of Checking accounts we offer here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd and you can find our Checking Selector here: http://bit.ly/KmmHe7 for help choosing a Checking account that best fits you. At TD Bank, we also offer Savings Accounts for all of your saving needs! We recommend taking a look at http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for more detailed information on each particular Savings account available. You also may find it helpful to use our customized Savings Selector, which can be located here: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF.
If you open a Checking account or may do so, you can get to know your new account here: http://bit.ly/1D7QIEH. This highlights many of the features we have available once you begin banking with us.
If you decide to open a deposit account with us, to begin the application you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. You can do so by clicking onto "Open Account" using the links listed above, or by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You also have the option of stopping by one of our TD Bank Stores. Please feel free to visit here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for hours and locations.
Thanks again for your interest, Thomas! We encourage you to write in again or call us with any questions about our products or services.
Have a great Sunday afternoon!
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
