Thanks for visiting TD Helps today, Kim! We are more than happy to provide you with some ways to transfer funds.
There are a few ways to transfer funds into someone else's account. Since you've mentioned that your brother banks with TD too, the first way you can make a deposit into his account is to stop in to a TD Store near you. You would simply fill out a withdrawal slip for your account and then fill out a deposit slip including his name and account number for the deposit into his account. The teller would make the deposit as if it was your brother did it himself! Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
You can also set up an online transfer via Person to Person. This feature allows you to send money via text or email by creating a contact within Online Banking. In order to use this feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Make sure that you both have your Social Security numbers, TD Bank ATM /Visa Debit Card, account number and e-mail address. If your ATM/Visa Debit Card is not available, please contact our 24/7 Digital Department at 800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Specialist or you can visit your local TD Bank during lobby hours for further assistance.
Once you and your brother are enrolled in Online Banking, you may then enroll in Person-to-Person. To use this feature you must have a US address and cell phone number, a US Social Security number and a valid e-mail address. Please keep in mind that transfers cannot be made outside of the U.S. and must be in U.S currency. You may visit the following link for additional information regarding Person-to-Person transfers: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
We hope this helps, Kim and have a great day.
