Thanks for reaching us on TD Helps, Marcia. We'd be happy to help you make a transfer.
If you'd like to transfer from another financial institution to TD Bank, we recommend contacting them directly for assistance in making a transfer either online or via wire.
If you have a TD account, transferring between institutions is now easier than ever with our External Transfer service and Person-to-Person payments though Online Banking!
Person-to-Person Payments allows TD account holders to send money to other institutions and request money within the U.S. We invite you to take a look here http://bit.ly/1h4ZIkL for additional details.
Our External Transfer service is very similar. When logged in to TD's Online Banking, account holders are able to send funds from their account to accounts they hold at other financial institutions. Please take a look here http://bit.ly/1o7dO68 to learn more.
If you are a TD account holder and already enrolled for Online Banking, please click here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq to log in. You can access our Person-to-Person payments by selecting the tab after you log in. External Transfers are available by selecting the "Transfers" tab and then selecting "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank."
For both of these transfer services you will need to know your account number and routing number to schedule transfers to accounts outside of TD.
As an account holder, if you do decide to use either of these services please know that there may be fees applied. To learn more, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are not enrolled for Online Banking, you are able to sign up here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security Number, ATM/Visa Debit Card Number and email address to complete the enrollment process.
If you have any trouble signing up, feel free to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 and after account verification our Representatives will be happy to help you enroll. Similarly, you are able to visit a TD Store for assistance. To take a look at our Store locations and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Marcia and have a good day.
