Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Lani. We appreciate your question and would be happy to help.
We apologize for any inconvenience, at this time, we do not offer Person-to-Person Payment feature for TD Business accounts. You do, however, have the option of utilizing TD Bill Pay to send funds.
To use this feature, you must first be logged in to BusinessDirect. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8. If you are not currently signed up for Bill Pay, selecting the tab will require you to accept the Bill Pay agreement. When you accept, you will be able to schedule One-Time Payments, Manage Payees and more! To create a payee, you would select the link, "Add new payee." After you select the link, you have the option of searching for a payee by name or entering all the information manually. If you enter the payee's information manually, you will need to include the following: Payee Name, Nickname, Account number, Address (including city, state and zip code), phone number and the account you'd like the payment to be debited from. Once completed, you'll be able to schedule payments to the payee you've created.
The next option that you have to send payments via BusinessDirect is ACH payments. To use this feature, you must first be enrolled in the ACH service. To do so, please select the ACH tab and then select "Enroll Today." BusinessDirect will then require you to answer 3 questions in regard to ACH payments. Once completed and after you select "next," a message will appear; letting you know that you will receive a confirmation telephone call within the next two business days. Please note that if you do not receive a call or if you miss the call from our Representatives, you will have to go into a TD Store near you to complete the enrollment request. The third method is to schedule transfers from your BusinessDirect account is to initiate a Wire transfer. Wire transfers can be accessed through the "Wires" tab. The enrollment for wire services is very similar to that of the ACH enrollment. By selecting "click here," via the Wires tab you will have to answer 3 questions similar to that of the ACH enrollment. You will also receive a similar confirmation telephone call.
