Its great having you here at TD Helps this morning, John. We would gladly provide information on how to send a domestic wire transfer.
To initiate a domestic wire transfer from your TD account, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
We would recommend checking with the other Financial Institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
As you are sending funds domestically, you may be able to use our Person-to-Person transfer feature via your Online Banking. This feature allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store. To use this feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have not enrolled in Online Banking yet, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call our 24/7 Banking Specialist at 888-751-9000 to enroll. Once you’ve enrolled for Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
Whichever method you chose, please keep in mind that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this was helpful, John. Let us know if we can help with anything else. Have a great one!
