Hi Angela, thanks for connecting with us on TD Helps.
If you are looking to set up alerts for your account held at TD Bank in the United States you will first need to be enrolled in Online Banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, a TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, and your email address. Once you’re enrolled through the TD Bank website and logged in, you can then sign up for alerts by selecting the "Alerts" tab on the top of the page.
TD Bank offers statement, balance and message alerts via email. Statement alerts are sent if you chose to have your statements electronically delivered to you, you will receive an email alert stating when it is available for viewing. You will also receive an email alert if you chose to be notified when your balance threshold is met or when you receive a new secure message.
If you have any trouble enrolling in Online we ask that you contact us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit your local TD Store during lobby hours. For hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you have any questions about setting up an alert or if you're having trouble, feel free to contact our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 by dialing 800-493-7562.
If you are looking to set up alerts for your account held at TD Canada Trust, please view: http://bit.ly/1wSlHjK for more information from our friends up North. You may also submit your own question on their TD Helps page from that link.
We hope this helps, Angela and take care!
