Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Tamara. We'd be happy to help.
When reviewing and managing your account and you come across "OD Fee", "OD Fee" is an overdraft fee. Typically, if your negative balance exceeds $5 at the end of the day, we will charge you an overdraft fee for each transaction that overdraws your account. Please note, we will not charge more than 5 overdraft fees per day. Also keep in mind there are other forms of OD Fees and invite you to visit our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, specifically under "Overdraft Services."
Additionally, in order to avoid overdraft fees from occurring on your account, you would have to make a deposit before the end of the business day in which the account is overdrawn.
If you have any further questions or would like to connect with a Specialist, feel free to call us at 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists would be more than happy to help review your account, explain the cause of the fees and also provide options on how to avoid these fees in the future. If you prefer, you could also visit us during lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please understand that although we would like to assist you directly, as TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum, we would not have access to your account information.
Additionally, if you are enrolled for online banking, you're more than welcome to send a secure message via your online account with your inquiry. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” If you have not yet enrolled, please call us at the number listed above.
We hope this helps, Tamara. If you need anything else, please let us know.
